I AM SICK OVER IT!
When we lose Doctors (And ALL laboratories do) it literally makes me SICK! I feel awful that we disappointed or simply did NOT meet practice, Doctor and patient expectations or the PROMISES that I make! However, we do learn from it. PLEASE share with me WHY we lost you (Form below) and please take a moment to review some of the latest enhancements, improvements, upgrades or changes we have made. I feel confident we can re-earn YOUR TRUST! Give me another try??
WE ARE BETTER NOW THAN EVER!
We started by addressing the typical reasons WHY Doctors leave a laboratory. Below are the changes, enhancements, improvements & upgrades completed and on-going RIGHT NOW!
· COMMUNICATION: When in doubt CALL, text or email the Doctor! I personally communicate with images directly with the Doctor(s) on a daily basis. We resolve many issues or maximize results PRIOR to the case being chairside! We discuss materials, BITES, treatment plan, path of insertion, contacts and food traps, adjacent teeth esthetics and occlusal anatomy. We also reach out for photos on anterior cases. A picture truly is worth 1,000 words.
· Over-all Quality: Extensive re-evaluation of what we did and why with Master, CDT. (There are ONLY 50 worldwide!) Michael Wandling. We immediately applied his recommended changes to produce a higher quality restoration. PERIOD.
· HIGH BITES! Better articulations, margin identification, NO bubbles and accurate equilibration of models PRIOR to scanning models into 3Shape that REDUCES the probability of high bites chairside! Reviewing the digital articulation more closely making certain these virtual models are DOWN. This is from BOTH traditional impressions scanned here AND IOS provided
· SEATING TIME: Advanced training for our 3Shape designer(s). Improved digital articulations, design improvements with a focus on seating the restoration! Contacts, path of insertion, pontic/tissue relationship all more closely reviewed. More specially to implants, making certain we account for tissue.
· ESTHETICS: Over-all improvement in esthetics. Advanced anatomy training for our cad/cam people, fitting/contouring, milling team and stain & glaze. More closely looking at adjacent teeth, contact points, mitigating food traps/black triangles and even future treatment planning for adjacent teeth that may impact the design. All working synergistically with quality control to deliver highly esthetic restorations. Advanced Mill puck nesting: Strategies to improve incisal, body and cervical translucency while improving the ability for our stain & glaze team to better match shades while also maximizing the life-likeness of every crown!
· IMPLANTS: Improved strategies’ when designing OEM, custom abutments, treatment plan consultation and over-all communication with co-technicians and with our Doctors!
· DOCTOR PREFERENCES: Often time’s dissatisfaction is NOT about “Quality”. It is about preferences. Everything from occlusal space, die-trimming, pontic design and contacts. We are FAR better today at gathering, logging & applying specific Doctor preferences.
· Inaccurate model/die work: Naturally from a traditional impression. If it is wrong in this stage…the whole process is failed. An evaluation by Curt Gardali, CDT. Curt reviewed our model & die work as well as die-trimming technique(s) Improvements were made immediately.
· Teamwork: We have adopted, implemented and embraced a “ZERO Acceptance” policy amongst technicians. NO case is accepted without approval of the work/quality from the previous technician. Ultimately, a quality control point within each step in fabrication.
· TURN AROUND TIME: Changes in our software that provides better tracking of cases and patient dates.NO LAST MINUTE phone calls (Barring technical issue) to move a patient!
